Ronald "Ronnie" Mather (January–March 1927 — 2 October 2011) birth registered in Wigan district, was an English Machinist at the National Coal Board and professional rugby league footballer who played in the 1950s, playing at representative level for Lancashire, and at club level for Wigan, as a hooker, i.e. number 9, during the era of contested scrums, coaching at club level for Warrington ('A' Team), and Scouting for Warrington, he died in Wigan.
