Ron Pettigrew Christian School (RPCS) is a fully accredited, K-12 Christian school in Dawson Creek, British Columbia. RPCS is affiliated with the ACSI, and uses BC curriculum. It is governed by a board elected by the Dawson Creek Community Christian Education Society. The school is named after Ron Pettigrew, a principal of Bethel Christian School, who was killed in a car accident in 1988, along with five members of the senior boys basketball team. Before the incident, the school was known as Bethel Christian School, but RPCS split off in 1989 with its own, separate building.

Mission Statement
A place to learn and grow in Character, Competence, Contribution, and Christ-likeness. Ron Pettigrew Christian School is dedicated to producing a friendly and safe social atmosphere for students to enjoy, and learn in. They work extensively to maintain a Christ-like reputation which shines evidently in their students.
Sports
In the school's inaugural year (1989-1990), despite not having a gymnasium*, the high school girls basketball team won the BC provincial championship. They would repeat that victory in 1991 with a record of 31-3. The same girls had won the provincial title as Bethel Christian School in 1989, laying the foundation for a Provincial 'three-peat'. The team played all over Western Canada and made headlines as they "Turned Tragedy Into Inspirational Fire."
The high school boys basketball team placed second in provincials in 1992, followed by 3rd and 5th-place finishes in the following years.
In 2002, the senior boys placed fourth and also finished third in volleyball.
Despite coming in 13th the year before, the Senior Boys basketball team won BC 1A provincials in the 2015-16 season.
Expansion
Ron Pettigrew Christian School plans on expanding their building during the summer of 2016. Phase 1 will introduce five new classrooms, an official common area, a large cafeteria, as well as a new kitchen. Phase 2 will involve renovating and expanding the staff room and office. In Phase 3, four new classrooms will be added to the Phase 1 expansion.
Playground
In 2013-2014 a new playground was added. It was built with the hands of volunteers, teachers and parents of RPCS. The new, updated structure replaced the wooden jungle gym, creating a fun and safer place for the kids to play.
