Roma Acorn (Roma ZHyolud' in Russian; real name Ignat Kerimov) is a Russian YouTuber turned pop singer who became popular in 2011 due to YouTube videos. Roma was chosen as one of the opening performer on Justin Bieber's Believe Tour in Moscow and Saint Petersburg in 2013. In June 2014, he released his debut album "Zona svobodnogo padeniya" (Russian for Free Fall Zone).

Background

Roma was born in Moscow, Russian Federation. He first started posting videos on YouTube in June 2010. Music videos followed in May 2012. He's been called the "Russian coming of Justin Bieber". On May 24, 2012 Roma Acorn released debut single called "Like". The video has more than 6.4 million views on YouTube, but also four times more dislikes than likes. In 2014 he finally moved to Los Angeles, California.
