Rohan Rao is an Indian sudoku and puzzle solver. He is a 13-time national champion and has been one of the best Indians at the World Sudoku Championship (WSC) and World Puzzle Championship (WPC). He won the Indian Sudoku Championship in 2010, 2011, 2012, 2016, 2017, and the Indian Puzzle Championship in 2010, 2011, 2012, 2015, 2017. He also won the Times National Sudoku Championship in 2012, 2015, 2016.

Rao was ranked 18th after WSC 2016 and 28th after WPC 2016. He stood 8th in World Sudoku Championship 2012 and became the first Indian to be ranked in the top-10 in the World in Sudoku. He is the Director of the World Sudoku Championship 2017 to be held in October, 2017 in Bengaluru, India.
Rao is an alumnus of IIT Bombay.
