Roger Dixon Jr. was born in Sanford, Florida. He is an American football Wide Receiver for the Florida Gators and his number is 36. Before he went to the University of Florida, Dixon attended Stillman College in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. As a freshman, he was voted Stillman's Offensive Player of the Year. That year Dixon had 19 catches for 290 yards and 4 touchdowns, 2 rushes for 8 yards, 6 kick returns for 110 yards, and 14 punt returns for 155 yards. He was also voted to the Dean's List for having good grades in school. For high school, Dixon attended Seminole High School in Sanford, Florida. As a senior, he was voted team captain and had 30 catches for 498 yards. On Defense, he had 2 tackles, a pass deflection, and two interceptions returned for 23 yards. He also ran track. Dixon ran the 100m, 200m, and 400m events. His dad, Roger Dixon Sr., also ran track at Florida. At Florida, Dixon played the final 6 games of the 2014 season on special teams. The week the Gators played the Tennessee Vols, Dixon was the Special Teams Scout Player of the Week. He was also the Gators Most Valuable Special Teams Scout Team Award.
