Roel Boomstra

Roel Boomstra (born 9 March 1993 in Utrecht) is a Dutch draughts player who won the 2016 World Draughts Championship match. He ranked third at the 2013 World Draughts Championship in Ufa. In 2014 Roel Boomstra won the Draughts European Championship. He also won the Dutch championship (2012, 2015). Boomstra is an International grandmaster.
