Background

Rod Carrillo hails from the Republic of Panama and moved to the United States at the age of 14, where he attended high school. He has been a DJ ever since the age of 15 and worked through various nightclubs, radio stations, and promotions companies while attending college and law school.

He started Carrillo Music in 2007, as an independent music label and artist management company based out of the United States. All releases are distributed internationally and are available at all major online music retailers, many singles have topped major radio and club play charts worldwide.

He is best known for managing the careers of Julissa Veloz, Eric Redd, Trevor Simpson, Kelsey B and Alexis Salgado.

In 2015, he has been attributed with the American market success in the careers of European artists Kissy Sell Out, D.O.N.S., Eddie Amador, Warp Brothers, Dark9ine, Danny Howard and Futuristic Polar Bears.
