Robert Stanley Mistele (June 8, 1920 – September 22, 2011) was an American football coach in the United States.

Coaching career

Mistele was the head college football coach for the Sterling Warriors located in Sterling, Kansas. He held that position for the 1962 and 1963 seasons. His coaching record at Sterling was 3 wins, 14 losses and 1 tie. As of the conclusion of the 2012 season, this ranks him #21 at Sterling in total wins and #27 at the school in winning percentage (.194).

Prior to coaching at Sterling, Mistele had coached high school football for 13 years in the states of Michigan, Texas, and Oklahoma. He was also a founder and member of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes.

He died in 2011.
