Robert Iwanicki (born 2 October 1973) is a Polish/German football coach, current manager of Royal Blues Taipei FC, a first division club in Taiwan. In the season 2014/15 he led the Royal Blues to win the highest amateur league in Taipei - BML. In 2015 he managed to qualify with Royal Blues to the Taiwanese 1 Division (Intercity League).

Career

Robert Iwanicki is a certified professional coach from Germany, holding a German Football Association level B (UEFA B Level). Back in his youth he participated in youth program of FC Schalke 04, a German semifinalist of the 2011 Champions League. He played for several amateur clubs in Germany before joining Red Lions Taipei. With Red Lions he won the Taiwan Foreigner cup 2005, scoring the 1:0 decider in the final game. 2011 Robert took over the OTPL Chairmanship (Expats Football League in Taipei) and is still involved in all league matters, trying to improve the leagues image. Nowadays - besides Royal Blues Taipei FC - Robert is the head coach and founder of the Formosa Football Academy and head coach at the Titans Taipei Sport Club.
