Robert "Top Gun" Hight (born August 20, 1969) is an NHRA drag racer.[1] He finished first in the points standings in 2009, with 2547 points, garnering his John Force Racing team its 15th championship. He is married to John Force's daughter Adria Hight, John Force Racing's Chief Financial Officer. He drives the Auto Club Chevrolet Camaro SS Funny Car. Hight has finished in the top 10 in points in all 11 of his competitive seasons.[2]

2005

Hight finished fifth in points in his first season with John Force Racing, totaling two victories, four final rounds, and a 28-21 record in 23 starts.
2006

Hight finished second in points in his second season with JFR, garnering three victories, six final rounds, and a 35-20 record in 23 starts.
2017

Hight enters his 13th season with JFR driving a Chevrolet Camaro. His crew chief is Mike Neff, and co-crew chiefs are Jon Schaffer and Jason McCullouch.

On July 28th 2017 Hight broke the all time NHRA speed record for any track at Sonoma Speedway in northern CA. Hight set the new record by reaching a speed of 339 MPH in a quarter mile.
Personal life
Hight is married to Force's oldest daughter, Adria, who serves as the organization's Chief Financial Officer. The two have a daughter.
