Life and work
Rob Shirakbari is known most for his tenure as the musical director and arranger for Burt Bacharach and Dionne Warwick and currently as the producer, arranger and conductor of Rumer's album "Into Colour" for Atlantic Records.
Don Was, Burt Bacharach & Rob Shrock were the musical arrangers and directors for the 72nd Academy Awards. Rob played keyboards in a tribute to Oscar-winning songs that featured Faith Hill, Ray Charles, Garth Brooks and Isaac Hayes.
