Robin (Rob) James Rubick is a former NFL Tight End for the Detroit Lions. He attended Grand Valley State. He was drafted in the 1982 NFL Draft by the Detroit Lions in the twelfth round.

Rubick was the radio color commentator for EMU football on WEMU from 2004-10. After leaving professional football, Rubick received master's degrees from Eastern Michigan University and Marygrove College and currently works as a teacher at Lapeer High School in Lapeer, Michigan. In 2010, he became the color commentator for preseason games on the Detroit Lions Television Network.
