Riza Angela Zalameda (born February 10, 1986) is an American-Filipino professional tennis player.

Biography

Zalameda plays for United States on the WTA Tour and the ITF Women's Circuit. She has won 5 medals at the Southeast Asian Games, representing Philippines.

Zalameda has 2 ITF singles titles and 6 doubles titles. Her career high singles ranking is No.534 (achieved on July 24, 2006) and her career high doubles ranking is No. 76 (achieved on April 12, 2010). She was the runner up at the OEC Taipei Ladies Open doubles event in 2009 with Yayuk Basuki.

Riza was born to Filipino parents Rolly and Angie Zalameda in Los Angeles. She started playing tennis at 5. She is coached by her father, Rolly. Her favourite surface is hard. Zalameda retired from tennis 2013.
