Early years

The clinic was founded in 1975 from the shared vision of Dr. Hugh Riordan and benefactor Olive W. Garvey. Founded as the Center for the Improvement of Human Functioning International, in 1975, the clinic began as a laboratory that allowed individuals to get biochemical testing to identify vitamin, mineral or other nutrient deficiencies that may compromise health.
