Richard James Sunley Tice (born September 1964) is a British property developer, who was CEO of real estate group CLS Holdings from 2010 to 2014. He was co-founder of Leave.EU with Arron Banks, and is co-chair of Leave Means Leave. He is CEO of the asset management group Quidnet Capital LLP, which has c. £500 million of property under management.

Early life

Richard Tice is the grandson of the property developer Bernard Sunley, and his mother is Mrs Joan M. Tice DL. He was educated at Uppingham School, which he joined in 1978. He subsequently received a bachelor's degree in Construction Economics and Quantity Surveying at the University of Salford.

He was joint CEO of the Sunley group between 1991 until 2006. He then ran a debt advisory consultancy before joining CLS Holdings in 2010. Tice is now CEO and a partner at Quidnet Capital.

Politics

In July 2015, he co-founded Leave.EU with Arron Banks.

He is a prominent Brexiteer who features regularly in television news items related to the matter.

Other

He has been governor of a number of schools and actively involved in the Academy programme. He wrote "Academies: a model education" in 2008.
