Rhododendron mucronulatum, known as Korean rhododendron or Korean rosebay, is a rhododendron species native to Japan, Korea, Mongolia, and Russia. It is a shrub that grows to 1–2 m in height, with leaves that are elliptic or elliptic-lanceolate, 3–7 by 1–3.5 cm in size. Flowers are reddish purple.

Koreans make pancakes containing rosebay flower. In spring, festival that commemorates barn swallows are coming is held and women cook pancake.
