The shopping centre opened on 2 December 2004 as part of the Rhodes Waterside development, which also includes medium density residential blocks and an office building as part of the shopping centre. The centre was acquired by the Mirvac Group in January 2007, and is now owned and operated by Mirvac.

Access and Transport
Rhodes railway station is the railway station closest to the centre. Vehicle access is available from either direction of travel on Homebush Bay Drive in one direction and Concord Road in the other.
The shopping centre has a total retail floor space of over 51,000 square metres (550,000 sq ft), with IKEA taking up 26,000 square metres (280,000 sq ft).
