Summary

It is a book describing the idea that in a capitalistic society, which is described also as a metaphor for life, the most effective strategy is that of "taking action", and pursuing goals, with no hesitation. This idea is illustrated using the two metaphors of Rhinoceros and Cows. The first are the winners, who pursue their goals, and have a thick skin to endure the struggles that will be met in the jungle (a metaphor for life itself), and the cows are the passive losers who only wait for external help, lead and motivation. It is built on the ideas of Max Weber and in particular on its work The Protestant Ethic and the Spirit of Capitalism.
