Rexonics is an environmentally-friendly, high-power ultrasound technology for commercial oil well stimulation that has been proven to increase oil production by between 30% and up to 380% both onshore and offshore. It can be applied in the various all the various oil recovery stages. It increases the production of oil, helps in cost reduction and is environmentally friendly. Rexonics enters into local partnership with service companies around the world for a global rollout of the recently proven technology.

History
In 2008, Ogsonic AG was founded as a spin-off of the world leading industrial ultrasonic application provider to focus on the development and production of ultrasonic solutions for the oil and gas industry. Mr Peter Spenger, Ogsonics AG’s founder has more than 45 years of ultrasonic technology experience. Ogsonic AG subsequently developed Rexonics – a Swiss engineered and patented technology which is innovative and 100% environmentally friendly.
In 2013, to increase the commercialization of the Rexonics technology, Rexonic AG was formed through a joint venture between Rex International Holding and Ogsonic AG.
In 2016, Rex International Holding pared down its stake to 50% from 66.67% to Ogsonic. This divestment demonstrated the commitment that Mr Spenger and his team had toward the joint venture and to the technology he developed.
Technology
A pioneer in the industry, the Rexonics technology is a high powered ultrasonic tool used to stimulate onshore and offshore wells. The proprietary and patented technology is based on acoustics science and is highly efficient in cleaning the production well bore from typical oil production inhibitors such as wax, paraffin and salt deposits.
Rexonics releases more than 1 kW of ultrasonic power sub-surface down up to 6,000m. The technology increases oil production by up to 380% by unclogging the perforation zone. This has been measured and certified by major national oil companies. Rexonics ensures minimal well downtime of less than 2 hours and for optimum results be operating in a running well for over 24 hours. On top of increasing efficiency, the technology is friendly to the environment as it substitutes the harmful methods within the enhanced oil recovery process.
