Retallack is a ghost town near the head of the Kaslo River, in the Kootenays region of British Columbia. It is located in the pass between Kaslo and New Denver. Retallack was founded in the 1800s. The town is also called Whitewater. J. Eaton recovered almost a million dollars in ore from the area. Retallack was built to support the mining operation located there. The town slowly went into decline and today is deserted.
