Restore – Burn and Wound Research (formerly Stoke Mandeville Burns and Reconstructive Surgery Research Trust) was founded in 1991 to support research into burns and burn treatment, and also for research in reconstructive surgery, particularly for patients with breast cancer. The project is based in the Plastic Surgery Unit at Stoke Mandeville Hospital Stoke Mandeville Hospital. The Trust is a Registered Charity - Number 1003899
