Resh Marhatta is an Asian/American Actor turned into filmmaker. He is also an author, columnist and a business educator..Resh has received a Business Teaching License from Utah State Board of Education. He is a graduate from Weber State University with high honor (Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society) Getting a presidential scholarship and registering his name on who’s who book among American universities and colleges sums up his academic excellency. Resh made his acting debut with a supporting role in the Finish TV series called Junketeer directed by Timu during his California days back in 2001.

At present Resh is actively engaged with movie business all around the world. He has acted in more than a dozen movies as a main lead. Resh is CEO of the production house “ Voice Entertainment “ based in California. His production house has produced two movies - “11th street -a story within" and “National Treasure - the blood run”, both conceptualized by him.
Also being a motivational speaker Resh travels all around the world for youth empowerment. So to acknowledge his exemplary work, he was recently honored as an Asian Youth Icon 2015, in Singapore by the King of Medan (Indonesia) organized by Tan Beverly, Orchid Country Club, Grand Ballroom, Singapore. Mr. Marhatta also received doctor of letters from Kings University, on 30th day of May 2016 for his achievements at Hilton Convention Center at Hilton Hotel, Baltimore, Maryland. We are honored and delighted to present the doctorate to one of the talented actors/ youth icon said Dr. Kumar, Kings University during this convention.
Furthermore, Resh is been writing columns in the popular magazines of Nepal, Vibes and Food & Wine regarding health and fitness. Following his passion for writing, Resh has written three novels so far, Roots (one of the untold stories of Asia), 11th Street (Romantic Thriller) and T2V, Trip to Vegas (Suspense Thriller). Among which his recent novel ” Trip to Vegas” got released among the panel of intellects, Dr. Pevannan Kuppusamy, Dr. Selvi Kuman, Dr. Carolin Praba, Dr. Unni Sivaraman and Tamil/ Indian actor Mr. Rkay. in an event held in Baltimore in 2016.
Family
Resh Marhatta's Father is Shakti Marhatta, who served as an economist in the Finance Ministry of Nepal and was one of the key bureaucrat while designing and implementing value towards modernizing and reforming revenue administration of Nepal and his mother is Bina Marhatta, a housewife. Resh is the youngest of six siblings. He went to MAV Boarding School in early days. Resh got engaged with Ashmii Adhikari in 2015 who is a graduate from Manipal University, currently pursuing her higher studies in United States of America.

Resh graduated from Weber State University and planning for his PhD in International Business Technology in the future.
