Remember the roses introduction
Plot
During the Second World War, an English agent named Robert was dispatched to rescue Paul Renard, a pivotal figure in the French Resistance, who was captured by the Gestapo and imprisoned in Rouen, France. Robert parachuted into a field near Rouen and attempted to contact a Resistance member residing at 16 Rue de Derriere. During this attempt, he nearly fell into the hands of the Nazis. Fortunately, a young girl named Jehane le Brun intervened, rescuing him and assisting in locating and freeing Renard. When Robert returns to England, no one believes his account of how he returned with Renard. When they all inspect the evidence, Robert finds that Jehane could have been none other than the legendary Maid of Orleans, Joan of Arc, who had fought for France in 1429.
