Rembrandt is located at 42°49'35" North, 95°9'57" West (42.826417, -95.165927).

2010 census
As of the census of 2010, there were 203 people, 89 households, and 53 families residing in the city. The population density was 1,015.0 inhabitants per square mile (391.9/km2). There were 99 housing units at an average density of 495.0 per square mile (191.1/km2). The racial makeup of the city was 97.0% White, 0.5% African American, 1.5% from other races, and 1.0% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 3.9% of the population.
There were 89 households of which 29.2% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 43.8% were married couples living together, 10.1% had a female householder with no husband present, 5.6% had a male householder with no wife present, and 40.4% were non-families. 37.1% of all households were made up of individuals and 10.1% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.28 and the average family size was 2.92.

The average household size was 2.38 and the average family size was 3.17.
