Reflexstock is a stock photography distributor operating out of Northern Ireland. The company provides access to royalty free and rights managed images through their online search engine, which currently harbors a collection of 3 million royalty-free and rights managed images. The company has positioned itself within the online image market by identifying a niche market opportunity and finding new ways to sell images.

Contents

Since Reflexstocks entry in the market in 2006, it has achieved significant growth during its first two years of trading. The company is supported by Northern Ireland's regional economic development agency (Invest NI).

Reflexstock recently supplied an image to Time Magazine which after a little manipulation appeared on the front cover of the December 17th edition.

The company’s recent achievements were recognized in a number of recent articles in the Belfast Telegraph and Dwyer O’Neill was interviewed by the BBC Radio Ulster Business News about the stock photography industry.

History

The company was founded in 2006 by Irish born Dwyer O’Neill, who had previously been involved with developing the online image portal Creatas back in 2001 until it was sold to Jupitermedia in March 2005. Dwyer expanded his business portfolio in January 2007 by setting up two sister companies: Not For Zombies, a microstock photography website and pictureresearching.co.uk, a professional picture research service for advertising and publishing companies
