Ray Batten is an English former professional rugby league footballer who played in the 1960s, and 1970s, and coached in the 1980s, playing at representative level for Great Britain, and England, and at club level for Leeds, as a second-row, or loose forward/lock, i.e. number 11 or 12, or 13, during the era of contested scrums, and at club level has coached for Wakefield Trinity.
