Eric Thorp of Clash gave Raw Money Raps an 8 out of 10, calling it "an exciting audible adventure into progressive hip-hop." Bram E. Gieben of The Skinny gave the album 4 stars out of 5 and said: "A slow burner, Raw Money Raps is soulful, difficult, heartfelt and utterly modern."
