Rattlebone was a punk/heavy metal band formed in Los Angeles, California in 1992. The group signed with Hollywood Records that same year. They recorded two albums with veteran producer Dave Jerden, who has also worked with bands such as Jane's Addiction, Alice in Chains, and The Offspring.

The original lineup included Roger Deering on vocals and bass, Kerry Furlong on drums, Jeff Muendel on Hammond organ, and Brendon McNichol on guitar. In 1994, Greg Birribauer replaced guitarist Brendon McNichol, before the band broke up in 1995.
After heroically conquering a crazy drug addiction, frontman Roger Deering graduated from bass to guitar and founded Los Angeles glam/hard rock band Smash Fashion. Continuing his lifelong winning-streak of writing catchy ball-busting rock and roll, he still intimidates many a microphone, singing rhymes of wild times. As of of 2017 they have two albums out.
Rattlebone drummer and manager Kerry Furlong spent many years trying to figure out how to write the perfect motivational song that still rocks an 80's new wavy feel. Finally satisfied with the results, he is preparing a series of releases under the name Blissiplin.
