In the northern part of India, the Rathore (or Rathaur or Rathor or Rathur or Rathan or Rathod or Rathour or Rahtore) is a Rajput clan whose members ruled several states (see below). The Rathores claim descent from the mythical Suryavansha (Solar dynasty).
