• 2003, 2007 and 2009 – The Best Football Writer of the Azerbaijan by the Association of Sports Journalists of Azerbaijan.
• 2007 – He have won a difficult quiz of the Russian All Football Magazine in 2007. They published 12 images of various World Cups and readers were supposed to guess which World Cup and match. He have guessed all.
• Since 2011 – The Jury member of the UEFA and European Sports Media for the UEFA Best Player in Europe Award. He represent Azerbaijan in Monaco in UEFA events and voting on this Award every year.

• 2013 - The author of the The Story of a Goal book on former famous player of Azerbaijan Anatoly Banishevskiy, 4-th prizewinner of the 1966 World Cup. His book has been awarded as The Best Sport Book of the Year by the Association of Sports Journalists of Azerbaijan in 2013.
• 2013 - Winner of the Football Oscar Award (Turkey) in the category The Best Foreign Sports Writer.
