Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa is a Bahraini royal and interior minister of Bahrain.

Early life
Khalifa is a member of Bahrain's ruling family, Al Khalifa. His father is Abdullah bin Ahmed Al Khalifa.
Career
Khalifa served as chief of staff of the Bahrain's defense force with the rank of major general from October 2001 to May 2004. He was appointed by King Hamad as interior minister in May 2004. Khalifa replaced Mohammed bin Khalifa bin Hamad Al Khalifa in the post. His predecessor who had been in office since 1974 was dismissed following the clashes between Shia protestors and security forces in Manama. Rashid Al Khalifa was promoted to the rank of lieutenant general following his appointment as interior minister.
