Ranton Green is a small village in Staffordshire about a mile southwest of Ranton, Staffordshire (where population details can be found) and a mile northeast of Gnosall. It consists of only a few cottages and farms without any shops, or a church. The local public house is called the Hand and Cleaver, which lies about 1 mile southeast of Ranton Abbey.
