Name Randi Anda | ||
Randi Anda (née Friestad; 29 December 1898 – 7 May 1999) was a Norwegian politician for the Christian Democratic Party.
She served as a deputy representative to the Parliament of Norway from Rogaland during the terms 1954-57, 1958-61, 1961-65 and 1965-69.
She was born in Egersund. Outside politics she was known for being a missionary to China. During the Second World War, she worked with Arne Anda in Qiqihar, Manchukuo before both were taken prisoner by the Japanese on 8 December 1941. They were incarcerated in Qiqihar's concentration camp until the end of the war.
