Ramapo High School has only one campus as of September 2010. It previously included the Ramapo Freshman Center, which is now the Kakiat Elementary School. The Freshman Center was established for the purpose of educating freshmen away from the upperclassmen, partially due to space constraints. The school nurtures prideful and outspoken students who are activists in their respective communities. The student body generally compliments itself on unparalleled diversity and academic determination, despite recently experiencing detrimental external and internal hardships.

Ramapo High School shares the famous East Ramapo Marching Band with Spring Valley High School, the other high school within the district. The band was featured in the 2004 film The Manchurian Candidate.
