Rajanwala is a very famous town near the bank of Chenab River in district Jhang. The road traveling is 22 kilometers on Jhang-Sargodha Road. Chund Bharwana is the nearest town to the Rajanwala . This town is known for its spirituality, Syed Families (Naqvi-Bukhari) are living there. History reveals that in the time of Aurangzeb the famous Mughal emperor, there was a business center, known for its market, and variety of stuffs. There is a sister town, Kachian (kechnpur), it reminds us the reign of English, and so forth. Later on King Auragzeb destroyed it in battle. Still many places of historical importance can be seen. A big "mud mountain" like structure (Bhirr) is present there. Massan, a village nearby was very famous and Hindus used to arrange a ritual fair. But all the old towns were blown up at the time of partition.

During rainy season people often find the gold, silver items from Bhirr. Rajanwala occupies the place between two rivers, climatic conditions are a bit harsh and summers are bit longer.

Culture

Agriculture is the main source of earning. Different Mela Festivals are important part of cultural activities. Annually Mela Festival on the shrine of Syed Laal Ajmair and saaid Jalaal is held for 4 days.

Sports

Among youngsters, cricket is the leading sport. There are two very good teams, Yong Jhoole Laal Cricket Club & Ali Hyder Cricket Club. Matches are held on every Eid at Laal Ajmair Cricket Ground. This ground is equipped with many of facilities found in international level.

Other traditional sports include Pirr-Kaudi, Dhodha, Pithu Garam, Lukan Meeti, Baari, Bateera/Kurrar Larai and many more. Tent pegging is the main source of amusement. Many people here have their own horses and actively take part. Al Rajan Sadaat Tent Pegging club is the main representative of the area.
