Rajan Rai

Rajan Rai is the illegitimate son of Ben von Anstetten. He comes to Castle Friedenau to learn more about his father, who has no idea that he has a son. Kati von Sterneck falls in love with him and procures him work as a groom. Rajan takes interest in the Anstetten family, which makes Ben's wife Tanja von Anstetten suspicious of him. When she finds out his secret, Tanja becomes his ally and tries to use Rajan's situation of being Ben's son. As soon as Ben finds out about his paternity, he invites Rajan to live on Castle Friedenau. Rajan begins to develop feelings for his stepmother and even begins a love affair with her, after Ben is murdered. But Tanja only uses him. When Rajan sees Tanja's interest in Tim Sander, he wants her to come with him to India and become his wife. Tanja agrees and pursues a cruel plan. After their wedding, Tanja kills Rajan and returns with his half of Ben's fourtne to Germany.
