Raj Mahajan

Early life

Raj was born and brought-up in a middle class vaish family in Delhi. He is the youngest one among 3 brothers. He did his schooling from Laxmi Public Higher Secondary School. He would compose and write at the same time since his childhood. He would spend his most of the time in reading books and practicing musical keyboard in his childhood. Writing poems was his another passion in his childhood. His inclination towards music led him to decide to drop study during graduation. Raj has 2 children named Saumya Mahajan and Moksh Mahajan.

He started his career by doing small businesses of Cybercafe, Computer Typing, Photostat, STD Booth, Kachori-Samosa Shop, Lathe Machine, Paan Shop, etc. to fulfill his parent's desires. But, he kept his passion alive during his engagement in business and continued music practice along with earning livelihood in small age. He kept learning from various gurus side by side. Although, he could not manage to acquire formal training in music.

He learnt sound engineering and music programming with the help of Internet at his Cybercafe. He would entertain his Cybercafe Customers with his singing & music. Later, He got a job offer from a mobile Value Added Service company on the basis of his music profile and he continued job for 5 years.

Entrepreneurship

Raj Mahajan is an entrepreneur and founded 2 companies in the name and title of BinacaTunes Media Private Limited and Moxx Music Private Limited under the companies act, 1956 in the year 2008 and 2011 respectively. Both the companies are registered with Ministry of Company Affairs. Raj is acting as Managing Director for both the companies.

BinacaTunes Media Private Limited

BinacaTunes is one of the leading company in the field of IT and digital content aggregation who source music content from various record labels and provide it to Telecom Operators, Web Radio Services, Applications and Digital Music Stores.

Moxx Music Private Limited

Moxx Music Company is an Indian record label and Production House based in Delhi, India. It produces music and video content. Moxx Music has released approx 1000 songs in 13 languages for different categories and genres. Moxx Music is also engaged into talent promotion and artist management. More than 3 million people listen to the Moxx Music's songs worldwide.

Music Masti with Raj Mahajan

Raj has hosted a TV Show named Music Masti with Raj Mahajan broadcast on DishaTV Channel in India and abroad on every Sunday at 22.00 hrs (IST). Every week a new celebrity would join the show and share talks on screen. Playing new songs was also a content of the show during the talks between the Celebrity and Raj Mahajan.
