Raisa Yermolayevna Aronova (10 January 1920 – 20 December 1982) was a Soviet Po-2 pilot in World War II. She received the title of Heroine of the Soviet Union on 15 May 1946, after having completed 960 night missions. After the war, she wrote a book about her experiences titled Nochnye Ved'my ("Night Witches") which was published in 1980.
