Geography
Redhakhol is located at 21.07°N 84.35°E / 21.07; 84.35. It has an average elevation of 182 m (597 ft).
History
During the British Raj era, Rairakhol was the capital of Rairakhol State, one of the several princely states of the Eastern States Agency. It had been a feudatory state to Bamra until the 18th century.
Location
National Highway 42 passes through Redhakhol. It is around 67 km south of Sambalpur, the district headquarters.
