Personal life

Alleyne was born in Scarborough, Tobago. She attended the Lambeau Anglican Primary School where she was introduced to the arts. In 2003, she represented her school at the Miss Junior Heritage pageant and placed fourth. Alleyne later attended Scarborough Secondary School and continued her studies at Bishop's High School. She is currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Journalism at the University of the West Indies, Mona, Jamaica.

Miss Heritage Personality 2013

Alleyne succeeded Kalifa Hislop on July 19, 2013 at the Cyd Gray Sporting Complex in Tobago. Hislop is her distant cousin and they both represented the community of Carnbee/Mt.Pleasant. In addition, to securing a back to back victory she was awarded the special prizes of Miss Intelligence and Best Talent. Her talent piece was created by Miss Heritage Personality 2003 Hyacinth Leander and has been highly praised for its humour. This talent performance was highlighted on the front page of the Trinidad Sunday Newsday on July 21, 2013. Alleyne's gown was designed by Delia Alleyne and paid homage to the French influence on Tobago's culture. She was adamant for Delia to design her gown because she observed that many of the past winners were crowned in her designs. Delia is well known as the woman who tutored Project Runway Season 9 Winner, Anya Ayoung-Chee. As the winner she received a $25 000.00TTD scholarship from First Citizens Bank and a $10 000.00TTD investment in the Abercombie Fund. During her reign, she attended various shows of the Tobago Heritage Festival as well as events for First Citizens Bank.
