Rain Nightclub, at the Palms Casino Resort, opened in the 2001 by the N9NE Group. The club is or has been known as Rain Las Vegas and Rain in the Desert. Those seen at Rain include Jerry Bruckheimer, Nicky Hilton and David Katzenberg. Rain was the first club to introduce Vegas sky boxes, cabanas and water booths.

In 2011 Britney Spears delivered a performance as part of her MTV Special inside the club in celebration of her album release.

Rain has hosted many top DJs including in 2010, after a 10-year hiatus from the US, Paul Oakenfold. DJ AM was the host in 2009 until his death.

In 2016, Canneconomy, a thought leader in the world of state legal marijuana investing, planned to host an awards show it The Rains in November. If the presentation goes as planned it will feature awards for the most game changing technology in the cannabis industry, best community outreach program, best edible/infused product, etc.

Events

Following the 2009 National Hockey League's annual award ceremony, a party was hosted at Rain.

Film history

The club was featured in an episode of The Real World: Las Vegas.
