Rahmat Shah Zurmatai (born 6 July 1993 in Zurmat, Paktia Province, Afghanistan) is an Afghan cricketer who bowls slow leg-breaks and googly.

Early life

As his name suggests, he was born in the town of Zurmat in Paktia Province and is from the Bangash Pashtun tribe clan.

Career

He is one of the most talented young Afghan cricketers. He has been named in a number of first-class and One-Day International squads for Afghanistan but is yet to make his debut. He has played List A cricket for Afghanistan against Pakistan A and other domestic teams like Faisalabad and Rawalpindi.
