Ragan is a village in Harlan County, Nebraska, United States. The population was 38 at the 2010 census.

History
Ragan was platted in 1886 when the St. Joseph and Grand Island Railway was extended to that point. It was named for a railroad official.
Geography
Ragan is located at 40°18′36″N 99°17′22″W (40.310093, -99.289516).
According to the United States Census Bureau, the village has a total area of 0.25 square miles (0.65 km2), all of it land.
2010 census
As of the census of 2010, there were 38 people, 18 households, and 10 families residing in the village. The population density was 152.0 inhabitants per square mile (58.7/km2). There were 25 housing units at an average density of 100.0 per square mile (38.6/km2). The racial makeup of the village was 100.0% White.
There were 18 households of which 11.1% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 55.6% were married couples living together, and 44.4% were non-families. 33.3% of all households were made up of individuals and 11.2% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.11 and the average family size was 2.80.
The median age in the village was 50.5 years. 13.2% of residents were under the age of 18; 7.8% were between the ages of 18 and 24; 5.3% were from 25 to 44; 55.3% were from 45 to 64; and 18.4% were 65 years of age or older. The gender makeup of the village was 44.7% male and 55.3% female.

As of the census of 2000, there were 46 people, 19 households, and 12 families residing in the village. The population density was 182.5 people per square mile (71.0/km²). There were 26 housing units at an average density of 103.1 per square mile (40.2/km²). The racial makeup of the village was 100.00% White. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 2.17% of the population.
There were 19 households out of which 15.8% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 47.4% were married couples living together, 10.5% had a female householder with no husband present, and 31.6% were non-families. 21.1% of all households were made up of individuals and none had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.42 and the average family size was 2.77.
In the village, the population was spread out with 21.7% under the age of 18, 6.5% from 18 to 24, 28.3% from 25 to 44, 30.4% from 45 to 64, and 13.0% who were 65 years of age or older.
