Early life

He was born on 1 January 1967.
Political career

Jamali was elected to the National Assembly on ticket of Pakistan Peoples Party from NA-232 (Dadu-II) in Pakistani general election, 2002. He was re-elected to the National Assembly on ticket of Pakistan Peoples Party from NA-232 (Dadu-II) in Pakistani general election, 2008. Jamali served as Federal Minister of State for Food & Agriculture from 2008 to 2009.

He was re-elected to the National Assembly on ticket of Pakistan Peoples Party from NA-232 (Dadu-II) in Pakistani general election, 2013.
