RAK Petroleum is the largest private oil and gas company in the Middle East. RAK Petroleum is based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. RAK Petroleum Public Company Limited was formed as a public company limited in the Ras Al Khaimah Investment Authority Free Zone with an initial capital of USD 820 million, raised through private placement. RAK Petroleum's shares are closely held by leading institutions, regional banks, investment funds and prominent individuals in the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Kuwait and Oman. Members of the Board of Directors and management are invested in the Company as well.
