The college is in the district of Ghaziabad and was set up by the Rameshwar Dayal Education Trust on 20 April 2004.
Campus
College owns a 16 acre lush green campus.The management has planning to stand more infrastructure.It has a gym for maintaining health fitness.The college hostel is quite BAD and having all time light facilities.Sightly and steady college has improve its infrastructure a lot.College is also providing transportation for students of NEAR area.
The RDEC library is open 10 hours daily .According to the college website(2008): "It is equipped with a large number of text and reference books and a plethora of Indian and Foreign Journals and magazines. The library is also enriched with all type of academic resources . A Xerox is made available during working hours. The library contains texts in English and many other languages."
Labs that focus on various technological disciplines are made available for student use.College has a very special kind of lab environment, a teacher and a technical person is always in the lab to provide guidance.There is also special lab available for seniors to work on cutting edge technology.The college faculties provides a lot of guidance in order to have a good grasping on technical area.

Now present days Training are introduced which are very beneficial to the students.These training improves the employability of student.A lot of effort is made by the college management to work on modern technologies.Aptitude classes is specially proves beneficial to the student. The college environment is very disciplined (if you get caught bunking the lecture you will be suspended and your parents will be called to meet the corresponding head of department. Regular performance tests are conducted on every monday(2 subjects/week).
