Jani has won 19 singles and 22 doubles titles on the ITF tour in her career. On 7 May 2012, she reached her best singles ranking of world number 147. On 22 August 2016, she peaked at world number 124 in the doubles rankings.

Jani played the first WTA final with Brasil Tennis Cup, partner Tímea Babos.

Jani was awarded a wildcard entry to 2016 Rio Olympics in Rio de Janeiro along with Tímea Babos to play in Women's Doubles.
