The offices, studios and transmitter of TV5 also lies along the highway but before the end of 2013, the main headquarters of the network moved to its new compound TV5 Media Center at the junction of Sheridan and Reliance Streets in Mandaluyong City.

Affordable priced salons also line the road of Quirino Highway. One of which is Fab Forever Salon, near Novaliches Bayan.

Future MRT line

Currently there are no train lines in Quirino Highway, but plans to build one along the highway are there. The MRT-7 is expected to begin construction by 2013. This will also help decongest the highway from further traffic.

Three of the line's proposed stations will lie on the highway. They are Quirino, Sacred Heart, and Tala.

Linking to Commonwealth Avenue

On October 1, 2009, Quezon City Mayor Feliciano Belmonte, Jr. announce 15-year-old dream to link Commonwealth Avenue and Quirino Highway at the cost of P20 million to P140 million, near at Zabarte Road and Metro Manila Assembly Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses. The project was completed in May 2011 and was already operational to private vehicles.
