Queuing users can get in the virtual line in several ways: from the physical location of the queue using a touchscreen kiosk or from a remote location via online, by using the QLess app, by sending an SMS text, or by calling an automated voice line. Users receive a forecasted wait time, receive updated forecasts on demand, can push themselves back in line if they need more time, and can leave the mobile queue at any time. Businesses that use QLess can obtain statistics about the queue including busiest times, number of customers not showing up, and customer return rates.
