Pyramidula umbilicata is a species of very small air-breathing land snail, a terrestrial pulmonate gastropod mollusk or micromollusc in the family Pyramidulidae.

Shell description

The width of the shell is up to 2.9 mm, the height is up to 1.7 mm. The shell is low conical (much broader than high) and tightly coiled and has very fine growth lines. The colour is red brown becoming more grey with age. The umbilicus is c. 1/3 of the shell diameter.

Distribution

This species has a Lusitanian-Atlantic distribution.
